Pokemon Ascent

Ascent is a combat-focused rush of trainer battles with roguelike-inspired progression. The gameplay loop lacks the adventure side of the normal pokemon experience, in favor of refined competitive battles.

You start at the bottom of the tower with three starter pokemon and progressively make your way from floor to floor, earning currency to upgrade pokemon and items. Pokemon Fire Red Kai

This is an improved version of Pokemon Fire Red. The goal of this project is to improve and re-balance the game, without significantly altering the original experience or the original flavor of the Kanto remakes.

This is the author’s very first rom hacking project, and while the game is completed and playable until the end of the main story, it is very much a work in progress and a learning experience for them.
